Foster City's new Veterans Honor Wall has been erected and nameplates honoring those who have served in the armed forces are continuing to be added.

There is still time to add nameplates before the official dedication of the Veterans Honor Wall. If you would like your loved one to be among those included on the wall at its official dedication in November, the application must be received no later than Friday, August 30, 2013 at 5 PM.

The honor wall was established to honor the brave men and women of Foster City who have served in the armed forces. To submit an application, the nominee must be a current or former resident of Foster City or a current or former employee of the City of Foster City. The following are required to complete the application process:

  • Application
  • Inscription for plate
  • Payment

A Donor Dedication Plate will also be placed on the wall to honor those who do not meet the application criteria or to acknowledge those who donated funds to support the construction of the wall.

The official dedication of the City of Foster City Veterans Honor Wall is scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM. All members of the Foster City community are invited to attend.
