The "At Your Door" Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Program operated by Waste Management's Special Collection Service is ending December 31, 2016 for all residents in the RethinkWaste service area. The service area includes Atherton, Belmont, Burlingame, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Hillsborough, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, San Mateo County, and the West Bay Sanitary District.

Residents can still schedule an "At Your Door" curbside pickup appointment before the end of the year. It is recommended that you call by December 9, 2016 to ensure a 2016 appointment. HHW material can continue to be taken to the San Mateo County HHW collection facility or a temporary collection event if residents are unable to participate in the program by December 31, 2016.
