Construction Advisory Notice - Levee Pedway Improvement - Phase III Project (CIP 607)

Residents are advised that the Foster City levee pedway section from the northern property limits of Lantern Cove development to the northern property limits of Shell Cove development will be resurfaced this summer. The work will include asphalt grinding followed by asphalt repaving. Work is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2013 and is expected to take approximately 10 weeks. However, weather or unforeseen conditions may affect the overall schedule.

The entire section of the Pedway will be temporary closed to facilitate construction of the project. Users are advised to seek alternate routes. The City appreciates everyone's patience and cooperation with any inconvenience caused by this construction activity as we work to maintain our pedway.

The City's general contractor for this project is Interstate Grading and Paving Inc. of South San Francisco. Work activities will normally take place Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. However, there may be instances when work activities will need to take place outside the normal periods.
