New Attraction Opens at the Foster City Recreation Center

Foster City, CA; January 24, 2011

There’s something new worth seeing at the Foster City Recreation Center; it’s a “Collector’s Showcase” where residents can display their collections of cameras, knives, dolls, porcelain, pictures, stamps, models, Americana or other interesting items to the public.

The inaugural display consisted of antique German beer steins, Swiss music boxes, and antique and modern teddy bears. This display will show through the end of January and new items will go on display in February.

Please stop by, take a look, and let us know what you think of the Showcase! If you would like to show your collection, let us know! Questions or comments may be addressed to Kevin Miller, Director, Foster City Parks and Recreation, 650 Shell Blvd., Foster City, California, 94404 or kmiller@fostercity.org.
