Have you been wondering about the new Recycle, Compost and Garbage Collection Services coming to your neighborhood this fall? Interested in learning more?

RethinkWaste, in partnership with the County of San Mateo, is recruiting Green Team Block Leaders to help spread the word about the new CartSMART services. Green Team Block Leaders will be the first to know about these exciting new programs and will become the neighborhood experts on CartSMART. RethinkWaste will provide training, manuals and a tool kit – everything you’ll need to get your friends and neighbors excited about this new era in sustainability!

Three trainings are planned at this time – October 13, 20 and 21, 2010 (see below for details). Food and refreshments will be provided. Volunteers will also receive a RethinkWaste messenger briefcase and the opportunity to enter a raffle for gift certificates and prizes.

Please join us for this training and become a Green Team Block Leader. Your involvement can be as informal and simple as just answering questions from neighbors to arranging formal presentations and home “Recycle” parties according to your schedule and availability.
