Members of the public have a rare opportunity to participate in the Community Impact Summit, a forum for community and business leaders from across San Mateo County to network and exchange ideas.
Hosted by Foster City Television this exclusive event will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at 6:30 PM in the Foster City Council Chambers, 620 Foster City Boulevard. This event is free but pre-registration is required. Due to limited availability, tickets will be confirmed in the order in which they are reserved or “wait listed” in sequential order.
The Summit will feature excerpts from So Right So Smart (TM), an independent film distributed by The Video Project. The film depicts and encourages Corporate (Social) Responsibility in generating environmentally conscious models for large and small businesses; and offers a captivating narrative detailing real world examples of innovative sustainable business practices that fill a dual role of being good for ecology and commerce.
Film excerpts will frame a moderated discussion highlighting related themes that directly impact our community-business, environment, education, and government. Scheduled panelists include Seth Baruch from Deloitte Consulting LLP, Rosanne Foust of the San Mateo County Economic Development Association, Bruce Klafter from Applied Materials, Craig Moyer of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, Walter Ruzzo from Gilead Sciences and John Stockham from Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company.
