Free Waterwise Landscaping Classes

Foster City, CA; March 5, 2010

The Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) serves the interests of 26 water suppliers that purchase water wholesale from the San Francisco Regional Water System. These entities provide water to 1.7 million people, businesses and community organizations in Alameda, Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

Each Spring and Fall, Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) offers a series of Free Water-Efficient Landscaping classes. BAWSCA’s goal is to introduce the concept of sustainable landscaping to the residents in the three counties, as well as promote water efficient practices. This Spring, BAWSCA is offering a total of twenty-five classes focusing on Native Plants, Irrigation, Lawn Alternatives, and more.

Classes are held throughout the communities served by BAWSCA’s member agencies in Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties. Registration is required and is taken on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, visit www.BAWSCA.org or call 650-349-3000 to register.
