The City of Foster City and its Environmental Sustainability Task Force, in association with The Community Associations Institute (CAI) Bay Area and Central California Chapter, are proud to extend a special offer to Homeowners’ Association management, boards, and owners for free admission to the Annual CAI Education Conference and Mini-Expo "Building Smarter Communities” on Saturday, September 24, 2011, from 8:30 AM to 3 PM at the Embassy Suites in South San Francisco.
At this event, managers and owners of multifamily properties will learn about tools and resources to facilitate green upgrades and learn how to improve net operating income through efficiency, durability, and marketability.
The Foster City Environmental Sustainability Task Force is hosting one of the conference sessions, “Energy and Green Building Upgrades for Multifamily” from 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM This session will describe typical elements and best opportunities for multifamily green building upgrades, the GreenPoint Rated certification available throughout California, and the range of new and existing incentive programs and resources. Participants will learn about tools to facilitate green upgrades and earn market recognition through green building certification.
