Free Emergency Preparedness Seminar October 15, 2011

In the Bay Area, the threat of earthquake, flood, fires, terrorism and other disasters is present every day. Do you know what you would do if events threatened your life, your family and your property?

The Foster City Fire Department is pleased to present a Free Emergency Preparedness Seminar for Foster City residents on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Fire Station.

This interesting and interactive seminar covers the basics on how to prepare yourself and your family for any disaster that may threaten lives and safety. Fire Department staff will discuss the importance of emergency planning and walk you through how to set up a plan that is right for your family. In addition, staff will give a detailed explanation of the supplies you should have on hand and how you can obtain and store them. Many other important topics will be covered as well.

There will be ample opportunity for discussion and answers to your specific questions.

The seminar is free, but registration is required. To register, go to the Recreation Center or register online at www.fostercity.org.
