The Foster City Public Works Department has announced that street sweeping days on a limited number of streets will be changed from every other Thursday to every other Tuesday beginning February 8, 2011. The change is necessary to accommodate the new trash pick-up days implemented by Recology, the City’s new waste collection service provider. A revised street sweeping schedule and map can be viewed and downloaded below.

The affected streets are: Bainbridge, Barkentine, Blythe, Burrows, Catamaran (from Spinnaker to Shell Blvd), Cutter, Decatur, Foresail, Halsey, Ketch, Mainsail, Marlin (from Foster City Blvd to Catamaran), Schooner, Sloop, Spinnaker, Staysail, Topsail, Trimaran, Trysail, Windjammer and Yawl.
