Foster City Noise Abatement Programs - Runway Resurfacing

Foster City residents should be aware that the San Francisco Airport will be resurfacing runway 28R (serving the over the bay approach). This will cause an increased usage of runway 28L (the runway closest to Foster City). As a result, residents may notice an increase in aircraft activity over Foster City in the short term.
All resurfacing activities are scheduled for the hours of 10:30 PM to 8:45 AM. Resurfacing is currently scheduled for the following dates. However, the schedule is subject to change.
Weekday Closures: Daily, beginning April 5. There is currently no end date information available.
Weekend Closures:
April 24 to April 27
May 1 to May 4
May 8 to May 11
