Citizen Advisory Committee Openings
Want to do something with your time that will help you learn more about your city, meet other like-minded residents, and make a difference to Foster City? Have we got some ideas for you!
The City of Foster City is looking for residents interested in filling partial terms on the following Citizen Advisory Committees:
Ad Hoc Transportation Committee -- meets 4th Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Arts and Culture -- meets 3rd Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Education -- meets 4th Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Noise Abatement (airplane noise) -- meets 2nd Thursday bi-monthly at 7:00 p.m.
Senior Citizen Advisory -- meets 3rd Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m.
Interested applicants are invited to submit applications. Applicants for all committees are required to have had attended a meeting of the committee in which they are applying prior to official appointment by the City Council at a City Council meeting. All applicants are considered on a first-come, first-served basis and may be considered for appointment at a subsequent Council meeting if vacancies exist.
Application forms are available at City Hall, by calling 286-3250 or can be downloaded from the City's website at www.fostercity.org. Return completed application forms to the City Clerk, City Hall, 610 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City, CA 94404.
