EMID Offers Free Water-Wise Gardening Information on CD-ROM
Foster City, CA; January 10, 2008
As part of an on-going effort to encourage customers to conserve water, the Estero Municipal Improvement District is offering a free CD-ROM, Water-Wise Gardening in the Bay Area, to all interested EMID customers.
Your choice in landscaping impacts the amount of water it takes to maintain your yard. Planting drought-resistant and native plants can be an easy way to conserve water, thereby saving natural resources and saving money. Water-Wise Gardening in the Bay Area will make it easy by guiding you through the process of choosing plants and designing your yard with interactive plant listings, virtual garden tours, watering tips and links to online resources.
To obtain your free copy of this amazing guide, bring proof that you are an EMID customer (such as a copy of your water bill) to City Hall, 610 Foster City Boulevard during regular business hours. Supplies are limited, so one copy per household will be provided while supplies last.
Questions about this limited-time offer should be directed to Maintenance Superintendent Ignatius Nelson at 650-286-8140 or inelson@fostercity.org.
