FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Dog Park Community Meeting Hosted By Parks and Recreation Department

Foster City, CA; September 23, 2008

The Foster City Parks and Recreation Department is embarking on improvements to the Dog Park. Please join the Parks and Recreation Department for a community meeting at the Dog Park on October 9th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The Foster City Dog Park is located at the corner of Foster City Boulevard and Bounty Drive.

In addition to the final review of park improvements, the Department is also interested in updating user guidelines, policies, and procedures that reflect appropriate use of the facility from both the play perspective and maintenance perspective.

Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the Capital Improvement Project and participate in a discussion to foster enjoyment of the Dog Park for all – dogs and humans!

For more information about the Dog Park or the plans for park improvements, please contact Kevin Miller, Director of Parks and Recreation at 286-3388 or kmiller@fostercity.org.
