Residents and motorists are advised that eastbound Metro Center Boulevard will be closed from Vintage Park Boulevard to Shell Boulevard beginning Saturday September 4, 2010 at 12:01 AM.

The closure is expected to last approximately 20 hours, with re-opening anticipated Saturday night, although high wind conditions could delay completion of the work and re-opening of the street until as late as Monday September 6, 2010.

Westbound Metro Center Boulevard will remain open for the duration of the closure.

To accommodate traffic, eastbound traffic on Metro Center Boulevard will be detoured north over the Vintage Park Bridge then east on Chess Drive and south on Foster City Boulevard. Traffic control will be set up in the area and police officers will assist with traffic control.

This street closure has been authorized to allow for required construction work at 900 Metro Center Boulevard adjacent to the street closure.
