Residents and motorists are advised that eastbound Metro Center Boulevard will be closed from Edgewater Boulevard to Vintage Park Drive beginning Saturday April 30, 2011, at 12:01 AM.

The closure is expected to last approximately 20 hours, with re-opening anticipated Saturday night, although high wind conditions could delay completion of the work and re-opening of the street until as late as Sunday, May 1, 2011.

Westbound Metro Center Boulevard will remain open for the duration of the closure.

To accommodate traffic, eastbound traffic on Metro Center Boulevard will be rerouted north on Edgewater Boulevard, then east on Fashion Island Boulevard and Chess Drive and south on Vintage Park Drive to Metro Center Boulevard. Traffic control will be set up in the area and police officers will assist with traffic control.

This street closure has been authorized to allow for required construction work at 800 Metro Center Boulevard adjacent to the street closure.
