City Seeks Participants For Environmental Sustainability Task Force

Foster City, CA; April 20, 2009
 

The City Council is looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to assist the Council in implementing the Community Sustainability Action Plan, a document designed to guide the City’s approach to climate protection and sustainability in the short, medium and long term.

The application period is open until May 1, 2009. All residents are encouraged to apply. The City Council is looking for a diverse cross-section of interests and experience. Interested non-residents are invited to assist the Task Force as knowledgeable, non-voting resources for the group.

The membership term is three years. The Task Force is expected to meet at least once a month.

Applications may be downloaded from www.fostercity.org or picked up from City Hall, 610 Foster City Boulevard.
