The Foster City Arts and Culture Committee and the Foster City Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce that photo submissions are being accepted now through September 25, 2010, for the 2010 Foster City Photo Contest. There is no limit on the number of entries per person.

With summer is coming to a close, you may have captured on film your vacation to the tropics, your tour of that mountain resort, a trip to the ancient magical country, the beautiful sights in your own backyard or many of the other wonderful places and things of your dreams. Why not share your captured memories at the Foster City Photo Contest?

Submit your beautiful or interesting photographs and let expert judges take a look! You may be a winner of a great prize in one of seven categories: Portrait, Landmark, Landscape, Photojournalism, Sports, Stilllife, or Manipulated Photo.

The contest is open to youth and adults. Entry forms can be picked up at the Foster City Recreation Center at 650 Shell Boulevard.

An awards ceremony will be held on October 16, 2010, at 2 PM. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the professional judges, enjoy good food, hear from our Keynote Speaker, and see all of the contest entries.
