Message from the Fire Chief
The name "fire department," although filled with tradition, is misleading given that today's department has evolved into an emergency service department capable of handling a full range of circumstances. Quite likely, unless you have experienced an emergency, your personal contact with us has been limited, but it does not have to be that way. The Fire Department offers a number of services on a non-emergency basis, most notably our free emergency preparedness courses and publications. We also provide free blood pressure checks and are available to assist with home safety inspections at no charge.

With that, allow me to introduce you to our Department and to the wide range of services we offer to our community.

Chief Belville became Chief of the Department in 2010.
