I just received my copy of the Leisure Update, Winter 2002 from the City of Foster City. This catalog is mailed to every residence in Foster City. Our Parks and Recreation Department put out the Leisure Update. I hope you have had time to review this great publication. As the cover states with the recreational and park opportunities that are listed inside, we are creating community and quality of life through people, parks and programs.
The amount of programs and events listed in this catalog is nothing short of amazing. They have programs for tots, youth, teens, adults, and seniors that just about cover every resident in Foster City. The hardest part in reviewing the many programs that you will love is choosing which one to do. Will it be an outdoor activity in one of our many parks, or a fitness program, perhaps a language class or enjoy the arts or sports for all ages. I would encourage you to try something new with so many exciting Parks and Recreation programs.
The programming and events cover a huge field of interest. The days and times are set up for the most use and convenience of the Foster City resident. Programming ranges from beginner origami, sports, jazzercise, senior meals, dance, art, sculpture, and the list goes on and on.
You can also pick up a copy of the Leisure Update at the Library, Recreation Center building, and City Hall. Please make sure you look and see if there may be a program or an event you may want to attend. I know we are all busy living life but taking time for yourself and family is one of the most important aspects of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Foster City Parks and Recreation offers those lifestyle choices in this current edition of the Leisure Update.
