Fall in Foster City
Fall is just a wonderful time of year, the days are getting shorter, the nights chillier and Foster City seems to shine at this time of year, the moon coming up and reflecting on the bay is a beautiful sight to see. As I drive around town I am amazed at how the trees have grown and many of them change colors, the plaza in between Safeway/Longs and the Metro Center is gorgeous at this time of year.

AYSO has started their season and if you can, take a walk/bike ride or drive to Sea Cloud Park and watch all the children playing. There is also fall ball going on and the snack shack is available for a snack. The Parks and Recreation Department will be having their Halloween Festival on Saturday October 28, from 11 am - 3 pm.

On Halloween Night there will be the safe streets sponsored by the Foster City Rotary Club but this is also a great time to go out in your own neighborhood and see neighbors that you may not have a chance to see at other times in the year.

I can be reached via e-mail rcox@fostercity.org.
