Traffic Review Committee

Duties: The Foster City Traffic Review Committee receives and reviews appeals or requests from citizens or staff regarding traffic matters and makes recommendations to the City Council. The Committee meets at the call of the Chairman at such time and place as may be appropriate in order to receive and hear as much information as possible pertaining to the matters to be discussed.

Membership: The Committee consists of the Director of Public Works or his designated representative, the Chief of Police or his designated representative, the Fire Chief or his designated representative, a member of the Planning Commission, the City Engineer (or City Traffic Engineer), the Community Development Director, and a resident of the City appointed by the Mayor. Members serve without compensation.

Qualifications for All City/District Committees: All persons interested in serving on any committee shall submit to the City Clerk/District Secretary, a written request for appointment containing such information on their background and qualifications as they deem appropriate. Members of all committees shall be residents of the City of Foster City/Estero Municipal Improvement District.

Meeting Dates and Time: The Last Wednesday of each month, at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room 2B, City Hall, 610 Foster City Blvd., Foster City.
