Education Committee

Mission Statement: The Education Committee shall exist as a citizen's group to advise and respond to the City Council in all matters related to educational needs of Foster City.

Membership: The committee consists of nine members appointed by the majority of the City Council to terms of three years each. Membership, where possible, shall include representation from all educational, community, civic and business organizations in Foster City along with interested citizens. Members serve without compensation.

Qualifications for All City/District Committees: All persons interested in serving on any committee shall submit to the City Clerk/District Secretary a written request for appointment containing such information on their background and qualifications as they deem appropriate. Members of all committees shall be residents of the City of Foster City/Estero Municipal Improvement District.

Meeting Dates, Time and Location: the fourth Wednesday of September, October, rescheduled to early December, January, February, March, April and May at 7:00 p.m. at the Foster City Council Chambers Conference Room, 620 Foster City Boulevard, Foster City.
