Water and Sewer Billing Procedures

Your meter will be read on approximately a 60- day cycle and you will receive your bill every other month.

Utility bills are mailed from the Financial Services Department approximately every 60 days. The due date for your water bill is printed on the right top portion of the bill.

If you believe the City has made an error in your bill or wish to dispute your obligation to pay the bill you may call weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM within 10 days of the billing date.

If you are unable to pay by the date noted on your bill and you wish to request an extension for payment you may do so by calling the Utility Division.

If your water service has been disconnected and payment has been made please contact Financial Services Department weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM, to have service restored.

You may apply for new water and sewer service by turning in an application with payment to the City of Foster City Financial Services.
