Water and sewer bills are mailed every two months and are due within 30 days of the billing date. The City of Foster City offers a variety of quick, convenient and easy ways for you to pay your water and sewer bills.

By Mail

Bills can be paid by check and sent to the following address. Please remember to return the top portion of your bill statement with your payment and use the enclosed envelope. We also have a convenient drop slot located by the front door of City Hall. For your protection, do not place cash in your payment envelope.

Auto-Pay Service

Pay your water and sewer bills automatically by having the total amount of your bill deducted from your checking or savings account.

This is a free service that authorizes the City of Foster City to deduct your payment from a designated bank, credit union or savings and loan. You'll continue to receive your bi-monthly statement and you'll have ten days to review it before payment is withdrawn. To enroll, please call (650) 286-3260 for an application. You may also download this application, fill it out and mail or fax it back to us.

In Person

You may pay in person by visiting City Hall, located at 610 Foster City Blvd. City Hall is open weekdays from 8am to 5pm.

A drop slot is located by the front door of City Hall for payments made after business hours. For your protection, do not place cash in your payment envelope

By Telephone

Pay your water and sewer bill over the phone using your credit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Any questions regarding your utility bill may be directed to the Financial Services Department. We are open weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM.
