Patrol Division

The Patrol Division is lead by the Field Operations Captain, Jon Froomin, and is responsible for providing patrol services to the community.

The Patrol Division deploys police officers into the community as part of patrol services. Patrol officers respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service from the community, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Patrol officers are routinely involved with:

  • Enforcing laws
  • Making arrests
  • Taking reports
  • Conducting criminal investigations
  • Traffic enforcement
  • Conducting field interviews
  • Crime prevention
  • Focused enforcement patrols
  • Special operations

The patrol division also focuses on intervention and prevention of youth-related crime and violence, drug activity, and domestic violence.
