Youth Services Bureau

Corporal JoshuaThe emphasis of this unit is to work in coordination with the youth of Foster City, the Schools, and other county agencies. The Youth Services Bureau consists of one Police Officer. The Bureau offers numerous programs as well as conducts investigations where juveniles are involved.

The Youth Services Bureau offers the following programs and services:

  • School Safety Patrol- coordination with CSAA

  • Fingerprint Identification/comparison

  • 9-1-1 for Kids
  • Stranger Awareness

  • Assistance with Parent/Youth issues

  • Community Service Work (1st time offenders)
