Emergency Preparedness Class

The Fire Department offers this free class that teaches the basic information you need to prepare for an emergency. As the events of September 11, 2001, demonstrated, a natural or other disaster could occur at any time without any warning. In California, we remain aware of risks associated with earthquakes, levee failure, terrorist activity and other potential disasters.

This course will help you think through your basic needs and assist you in taking the first steps to emergency planning.

Don't wait! Find the time for this brief class before the next emergency strikes!

The class is free, but registration is required. Registration information and a list of other classes through the Parks and Recreation Department are available in the Leisure Update. (Category: Adult Special Interest)
