Begin this holiday season with Foster City’s Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00pm on Wednesday, December 2nd, on the Lagoon Room Patio of the William Walker Recreation Center at 650 Shell Blvd.  The evening will start with joyful music and light refreshments, followed by a countdown to light the tree on the lagoon.  Coloring activities will be available for the children while we wait for that “Special Visitor” in a red suit to arrive.  Admission is FREE! 

In the spirit of giving, please bring a canned good or non-perishable item to donate to the Shelter Network, helping families in need.

**Letters From Santa Program**

The Foster City Parks and Recreation Department has made arrangements with Santa to accept mail for the delivery to the North Pole between December 1-11, 2009.

Foster City youngsters are encouraged to write to Santa.  Parents may either place the letter in the designated mailbox at The Foster City Teen Center (670 Shell Blvd.) or mail it to:
